A Customer Service Nightmare: Scratched Lenses & Hours on Hold 😠


I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying from this website. My experience was so frustrating that I felt I had to speak up. It was, simply put, the "Worst customer service experience ever." To start, I was "Unable to sign in using the correct email address to reset password." When the glasses finally arrived, they were delivered with a "scratch on lens." My "Request to speak with customer service representative not answered after waiting for over 2 hours on two separate attempts." All this, plus the "barrage of spammy emails," is why I had to try one last time to get ahold of a person.

Customer: I've finally reached someone! I’ve been on hold for hours over the past two days. My glasses arrived scratched, and I can't even log into my account to start a return.

CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the difficulties you've experienced and for the unacceptable wait time. That is certainly not the service we aim to provide. Let me help you with this right away. Can I get your email address or order number?

Customer: It’s [email address]. On top of the scratched lens and being locked out of my account, I get three or four marketing emails from you a day. How can you spam me but not answer your phones?

CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration, and you are right to be upset. I've located your order. I can process a full refund for the defective pair immediately and I will personally ensure you are removed from our mailing list. There is no excuse for this level of service failure.

Customer: A refund is a start. But this whole thing has been a disaster. The quality control is terrible and your customer service is basically non-existent.

CS Rep: I hear you, and I will be passing your feedback directly to my management team. We have to do better. Your refund has been issued, and you should see it back in your account within 3-5 business days. Again, I deeply apologize for your experience.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
